Integration & Development Lead - NYC - 6 Month contract to hire

Integration & Development Lead

 Open position for an individual who will serve as a SAP Integration Design Lead, providing development/technical support and Integration expertise for an environment that includes SAP ECC 6.0, XI/PI, BI, Enterprise portals and ETL tools
 Lead the team that will leverage SAP’s ABAP and XI technologies to meet the FiRE business solution requirements
 Deep expertise in implementing SAP Integration methodologies to implement solutions
 Responsibility for SAP ABAP development using world class techniques, along with performance tuning and testing
 Manage day to day coordination with on-site/off-shore SAP development, establish all needed communications, status reporting, quality assurance and documentation standards
 Ensure SAP documentation processes are appropriate and are followed
 Work with Business Solution team to ensure functional spec requirements properly support technical specs
 Determine the team approach, staffing, responsibilities and schedule
 Measure and monitor progress
 Manage day to day operations
 Review and approve the application designs
 Define and maintain the application inventories; manage the RICEFW work

Required Skills

 Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or an equivalent area.
 A minimum of 5 years of experience developing custom objects in SAP ECC, XI, Portals, BW and MDM
 A minimum of 3 years of experience architecting solutions integrating applications using SAP XI or other middleware (EAI/ETL) tools with SAP ECC 6.0 or R/3 systems.
 Thorough Understanding of SAP NetWeaver architecture
 At least one project using or managing EAI tools like XI, Websphere, Vitria, Seebeyond, MQSI, Business Connector etc.,
 Experience in using or managing SAP ABAP, XI, Portals, Proxies, Web Services, UDDI, WSDLs and XML

Lead Application Architect - NY/NJ - Fulltime

Lead Application Architect

Recruiting Minds is looking for a skilled technical architect to help shape the future of our consulting practice. This challenging position calls for a skilled application architect who can take his or her object-oriented design experience and lead fast-paced project teams from inception through elaboration, architecture, implementation, and completion in order to change the way the company builds and delivers content across platforms.

Responsibilities:

- As a member of the application development and support team, this person will lead project application architecture activities.
- Work with Business Analyst group to gain a good understanding of the end-client’s vision and business
- Develop and document the preliminary and high level Application Architecture designs and plans including assumptions, key objectives and main features, high level designs, process models and event models
- Document application interfaces
- Provide detail level designs and perform/assist in coding efforts and translate business logic into coding specifications, as necessary
- Conduct sessions with the development team to share the application architecture vision
- Lead any software development and/or hardware/systems implementation efforts
- Liaison between US based project teams and project teams in our Development Center in India.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 6- 10 years in the IT field
- 2-4 years in a similar role plus experience developing similar applications
- Experience in Java/J2EE is a MUST
- Excellent team player
- Articulate communicator of complex technical and business topics
- Detailed and deadline oriented
